Top 10 Reasons Why You’re Broke!
Oct 20

You’re obviously looking to create an extra income for yourself with a home based or internet based business, but do you know that if you are’nt careful that you could be setting yourself up for failure?

Here is a dirty little secret about the industry that you NEED to consider when looking at joining a home based business…

Regardless of what you see, hear, or read… most sponsors, mentors, etc. are extremely selfish.  That’s right…. I said it.  SELFISH!

Most sponsors have no desire to see YOU be successful.  Why?  Because in most cases, your success actually takes away from theirs.

To be honest, this selfish behavior is as much a responsibility of the industry as a whole as it is specific sponsors.  You see, most businesses are actually promoting selfishness through their flawed compensation plans.

Today, let’s take a look a couple of very popular compensation plans and why joining one could and almost certainly WILL mean failure.

The 1-up and 2-up

These are two very popular compensation plans in which the first sale (or 2) goes to your sponsor.  In most cases, both the money from the sale(s) and the actual person(s) roll up to your sponsor.  The idea is that the sponsor is supposed to train you how to get your first sale(s), and they are rewarded for doing so.  After they train you, you should be a pro and rake in sale after sale on your own…. right?

WRONG!

Here’s one big problem with 1-up and 2-up plans.  After you pass up one or two sales to your sponsor, it is of ZERO financial benefit for them to help you.  In fact, if they do help you, it is actually taking away from their sales.  Because after you pass up the sales and are on your own, you are actually in direct competition with the sponsor to create more sales.

Ask your self this…. do you think if a sponsor has a secret technique that makes them $1000 a day for example, that they are going to share that with you…. even if it means they will make LESS sales for doing so?  The answer is OF COURSE NOT!

A second problem is that you are earning ZERO dollars on your first sale or two.  How would you like to spend thousands of dollars to join a business, more money to advertise, make a sale, and then get NOTHING for it.  What this forces you to do now, is dig deeper into your pockets to be able to advertise and make more sales.  Had you made money on the first sales, you would be able to reinvest into your business without going back into your pockets.

Bottom line is that 1-ups and 2-ups breed nothing but unhealthy competition and selfishness among members.  Nobody wants to really help anybody else because if they do, they lose sales.

Modified 1-up or 2-ups

A modified 1 or 2 up is similar to the structure above, with the exception that you usually split commissions on your first sale(s) with your sponsor.  While this solves one problem (letting you earn money on your first sales), it is still the same compensation plan after those pass ups that breeds competition and selfishness.

So again, is a successful sponsor really going to give away all of his/her secrets if it means less money?  NO!  Plus, in most cases, even though you get 50% commissions you lose the person that you brought in.  This only results in your sponsor making more money for YOUR efforts, time and money spent.

I have been marketing for over 8 years and only one compensation plan has been able to get it right.  Not only do you make money from day one, but you never give up a single person that you bring into the business and here is the most amazing part….

You Get a 100% Match on All the Commissions that Your Personally Sponsored Members Make For Life!

So here is what this means….. if you go out and sign up Joe, and Joe makes $10,000 this month…. so do YOU!  If Joe makes $10,000 EVERY month, so do YOU!  It’s amazing.  This is the same for all of your personally sponsored members.  Do you think you would want to help somebody if it actually meant that you were going to make MORE money!

OF COURSE!

You actually benefit for life for helping people to be successful.  No pass ups, no unequal commissions.  This creates a very helpful atmosphere in which your sponsor wants YOU to be successful.  An atmosphere where there is NO competition.  After all, you dont care if Joe makes a sale or you do.  You get paid the SAME either way.  It’s actually better if Joe makes the sale because then two people are in profit instead of one.

Take a look at a compensation plan that removes the selfishness and greed that most plans promote and get excited about a system that was built to encourage success among many.
